The Vlaams Ergotherapeutenverbond (VE) brings together the Dutch-speaking Belgian occupational therapists (OT) and forms part, with the Association des Ergothérapeutes (AE) www.ergo-ae.be , of the Nationale Federatie van Ergotherapeuten - Fédération Nationale Belge des Ergothérapeutes ((NBFE - FNBE), www.ergobel.be.

The NBFE-FNBE represents the Belgian Occupationa Therapists in the national and international organisations. Regional matters are directly treated by the VE and the AE.

Consequently, the VE is:

• an active member of the World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT) and of the Council of Occupational Therapists in the European Countries (COTEC).
• participating in the activities of many organisms and working parties in sectors like education, health care and well-being.
  

The objectives of the VE are the following:

• promotion and development of Occupational Therapy
• support and protection of the profession in general, and of the individual interests of its members.
  

This website intends to be a forum where Occupational Therapists, students and graduates may meet, exchange ideas and find various types of information.
Free access to the site is given for selected subjects. Nevertheless, to be a member is a necessity to access more specific pages.
